HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR BLOG
There is no easy way to be successful at anything. You need to invest time and even money. You spent hours on polishing your blog posts and blog design so what now? Promote it! Tell the world you create a blog and publish a new post but how to do that?
1 ) Share blog posts on social medias
Everyone knows social medias dominant the internet world. This is the best way to promote your blog. Share your blog posts at least on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
2 ) Blog subscription
Create a subscription box on your blog. Let your readers sign up to your blog so they could get the latest updates. An email with your latest post will be delivered straight to your readers’ inbox. Before you could send out new post notification newsletter, make sure you go to your Mailchimp or any other subscription service account to setup the automated email.

3 ) Share behind the scenes
You have a blog post coming up and you want to make sure your readers know they could expect something new from you. Share some of the behind the scene photos with your followers on social media. A photo of you taking photo or a screenshot of your blog will do.
4 ) Leave a comment
Visit your fellow bloggers blog, leave a comment on their latest post with your blog post URL attached to your name. DO NOT leave the link directly in the comment box. Everyone knows you’re here to promote. Make sure your comment is related to the blog post and please, please do not leave something like “great review”, “good post”…etc. Leave something more in depth or even share your point of views. Remember you’re here to let everyone knows you and your blog exist. People who are interested will click on your name for more.
Other than blog, you could also leave comment on their social medias especially on Instagram. Leave your foot print on your fellow bloggers’ and brands’ Instagram.
5 ) Share icons and Pin-it button
Don’t skip these essential blog features. It allows your readers to share your blog post on THEIR social media feeds which is even better to share it by yourself. They are spreading your words for you.
6 ) Your blog url
Not only share your blog posts but also keep your blog URL visible on your social media profile at all time.
7 ) Interaction
Not just leave comments to fellow bloggers but also your readers. They are one of the reasons that keep you on your blog game. Reply to their comments and again don’t just leave “awww thank you!”, “you’re so sweet.” and sometimes follow back your loyal readers. Keep the relationship as long as possible.
8 ) SEO
Another vital topic. We’re not going to blah about it in this post because it might took another half hour for you to go through it. If you’re using WordPress, we highly recommend using plugin “Yoast SEO”. Follow their rules to optimize your blog post.
