HOW TO TAKE GREAT PHOTOS FOR YOUR BLOG OR SOCIAL MEDIA

An attractive photo can captures audience’s heart no matter how weak the content is. Just like no matter how sucks the product is, we still fall for it because of their amazingly taken photos. Today, we are going through some of the tips that help you take your photos to the next level.

1 ) Equipments

Is it necessary to break your bank account to get a professional camera? I would say NO! If you’re not a professional photographer and not planning on being one, why spend thousand of dollars on it? We’re just taking photos for blog and social medias. A decent mobile phone can do the job beautifully. With the help of photo edit apps, no one is going to know the difference. The resolution of the photos that taken by a phone is more than enough for a blog.

2 ) Lighting

Two words – natural light. Try to take your photos under natural light whenever you can. It is so much better than video/photo light. It’s free and won’t take up a lot of space. The layers of shades that come from natural light is incomparable.

3 ) Arrangement

Don’t just toss the stuff together without arrange it. It makes the photo looks messy and no focus point. Find a major focus point, it will be the main theme of your photo. The stuff you’re are taking photo with should not take up to 80% of the capture area. And try to get the stuff that are in different sizes. It make the photo looks more interesting and dimensional.

4 ) Colors

Too colorful sometimes is a torture to the eyes. Combine a main color with 2-3 secondary colors in your photos. Similar color tone makes the photos look more artistic and professional.

5 ) Editing

If you take picture with your phone, use photo edit application to edit your photo. They are very easy to use. Tab and Save. Just pick the right effect that fit your blog theme and don’t overdo it.
