The only down side of using cache plugin is the changes you’ve made to your blog might not be reflected right away. Depends on how long will the cache file keep. Every plugin has their own pack of codes to executes. Imagine you’re using 10 different plugins and your server needs to load all of them while loading your website. It surely will slow down the page. Use as minimal plugins as you could. Deactivate those that are not necessary. A poorly coded plugin can significantly slow down your page speed too so be sure to check their users feedback before using one.
