HOW TO CHANGE THE READ MORE TAG TEXT

The default text of the read more tag the is “…” or “[continue reading]”. Want to change it into your own text? Keep reading.

Before you get start, make sure you have the access to the function.php of the theme. Normally you could get to this file by logging in to your WordPress dashboard and go to the editor page. But some of the hosting company locked this features to protect your blog from crushing because of some errors you could possibly make to the theme core file. If that is the case, you must contact your hosting company to unlock this features for you.

Once you gain the access to the function.php of the theme, paste the following code in it. All you need to do is replace the VIEW POST text with your own text.
