HOW TO MIGRATE FROM BLOGSPOT TO WORDPRESS
When the idea of upgrading the blog to WordPress comes to your mind. It usually means that your blog is growing really well. You need a more customizable and reliable platform to continue expand your blog. Migrating all of your existing contents to another platform can be quite overwhelming. Today, we will going to talk about how to do it without losing contents.

Export from Blogspot
Login to Blogspot, go to Settings > Others. At the top of the page, click Backup Content. A window will popup with an option Save to your computer. This will export all of the existing comments, blog posts, pages and photos into a xml file.
Import to WordPress
Go to your WordPress dashboard, Tools > Import. Blogger > Install Now. This will install a Blogspot importation plugin. Wait until the process complete then click Run Importer.
Click Choose File. Locate the xml file that you previously download from Blogspot and upload it.
It will ask you if you would like to import the file as a new user or existing user. It’s all up to you. You could choose whatever you want.
Check permalink structure
Blogspot and WordPress has different permalink structure. Since you’re moving from Blogspot, you want to make sure the permalink structure is as close to Blogspot as possible to prevent broken link error. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalink and select Month and Name.
Done! You successfully moved all of your Blogspot content to WordPress.
